ROUND ONE IS NOW CLOSED. PLEASE MOVE ON TO ROUND TWO

These 64 contestants made it past the preliminaries and into the first round. They were ranked based percentage of vote they earned in their prelim (the two characters who automatically moved on were ranked 16 because they didn’t have to fight their way in) and matched up accordingly.

Directions!
1. Vote for your favorite character in each category. This round closes on Sunday, March 11.
2. Vote with a Livejournal account only. Journals used to vote must have been created prior to March 6, 2012.
3. Comments are for campaigning and fun. Still upset about a major character that was missed in prelims? Take it to a reply to this comment thread on the prelim round for a Sorry We Forgot About You fight to be held at a later date.

IF YOU DOWNLOADED THE BRACKET BEFORE 6:30PM EST ON FRIDAY, GET RID OF IT. It is wrong. Use this one instead (hat tip to grav_ity for pointing out that I had things in the wrong order).

And a plea: would anyone be willing to make graphics? Either generic banners advertising the competition or character-specific ones? That would be a huge help.
